ZSTIP's unique value proposition: what does the park offer to the region's innovators?

The Zsámbék Future Industry Science and Innovation Park is an innovation center under construction, whose professional network, partnerships and business model are already actively taking shape today - for startups, research institutes and technology companies working in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, medical technology and smart architecture in the Central and Eastern European region.

The park aims to provide players active in the above four focus areas with the full path of research and development, prototype development and market launch, while the infrastructure and range of services are continuously expanding.

University background, three science parks

The special feature of ZSTIP is its close connection with the domestic and regional innovation ecosystem. As a member of the Óbuda University tri-polar innovation network – Székesfehérvár, Kaposvár, Zsámbék – the park connects scientific research with regional economic development and social convergence. This background will enable the businesses and research groups operating in the park to quickly integrate new technologies and directly contribute to the economic development of the region.

International recognition

The park became a member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP) in September 2024, becoming the first science park of Óbuda University to achieve such global recognition. This membership already provides a concrete opportunity to build international connections and partnerships – which is particularly important for the international visibility of startups, medtech and smart city projects.

ZSTIP's value proposition in a nutshell

An emerging, targeted infrastructure. The park is planned to be expanded with labs, offices, experimental spaces and a prototype development center, which will be specifically designed for cybersecurity, AI, medical technology and smart architecture developments.

Integrated ecosystem and partnerships. The park already maintains active collaborations with clusters – including the Hungarian Cybersecurity Cluster –, research institutes and industrial players, and organizes regular professional events.

Professional support and advice. Mentoring programs, industry consultations, and market advice help with rapid prototype development and market entry.

International relations and market access. Through its IASP membership and established network of contacts, the park already provides international visibility and collaboration opportunities in the technology and medtech sectors.

Technology focus. Cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, medical technology and smart architecture are the areas on which the park's research, development and testing infrastructure will be built in the future.

A place where future innovations take shape

Overall, the Zsámbék Future Industry Science and Innovation Park is building a development environment where researchers, startups and industrial players can find the infrastructure, community and professional support necessary to implement future innovations in one place.
