A discussion on the establishment of the Zs\u00e1mb\u00e9k Science and Technology Park, the current status of the project, and the establishment of relations with Czech industrial and science parks was held at \u00d3buda University on September 22. At the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Levente Kov\u00e1cs received the delegation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Czech side was represented at the meeting by Petr Michalek, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Czech Embassy in Budapest, and Pavel Jovanovi\u010d, Head of the Bohemian Innovation Center. The university was represented at the meeting by Prof. Dr. Levente Kov\u00e1cs, Rector, Dr. habil. Imre Felde, Vice-Rector for Industrial and Business Relations, Prof. Dr. Mikl\u00f3s Kozlovszky, Dean of the Neumann J\u00e1nos Faculty of Informatics, Dr. Gy\u00f6rgy Eigner, Director of the University Research and Innovation Center, the Institute of Biomatics and Applied Artificial Intelligence of the Neumann Faculty of Informatics, Botond Feh\u00e9r, Chief Economic Officer, and Vikt\u00f3ria Tafferner-Guly\u00e1s, Head of the International Relations Office. Among others, L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Horv\u00e1th, Mayor of Zs\u00e1mb\u00e9k, and Csaba N\u00e1sz, representing industrial partners, were invited to the meeting.<\/p>\n

The topic of the meeting was the establishment of the Zs\u00e1mb\u00e9k Science and Technology Park and the presentation of the current status of the project. A similar project is also running in the Central Bohemian region in cooperation between industry and academia. The aim was to strengthen direct contacts, organize study visits to Czech industrial and science parks and establish an Advisory Board.<\/p>\n

Local environmental and social development is a key goal in the integrated cooperation between business enterprises, the public sector and higher education institutions.<\/p>\n

The Zs\u00e1mb\u00e9k Science and Technology Park (hereinafter referred to as Science Park) (Zsambek Future Industries) (STP) is a creative, knowledge-based, environmentally conscious pilot project that incorporates Industry 4.0 technologies.<\/p>\n

The Science Park will be implemented in an open and self-sustaining industrial innovation ecosystem; it will be a service-oriented R + D + I digital hub. The designated real estate development area will include scientific, research incubation centers, business services, technology manufacturing and prototyping, educational and training facilities, and discovery center showrooms.<\/p>\n

The contract for the project has already been signed by local business partners, including Telenor (telecommunications), Medicor (healthtech), H1 Systems (data center), Craftunique (3D printing), Grepton Group (drones AR&VR), C3S (nano-satellite space technology), Virtuosos (content, education), iFace (digital marketing solutions), as well as various small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the fields of fintech, legaltech, digital education and e-sports. The project coordinators have also contacted international business partners. They intend for the Science Park to play a central role as an international digital center on the Baltics \u2013 V4 countries \u2013 Balkans \u2013 Germany axis, and for this purpose, negotiations were held between the Hungarian and Czech participants at \u00d3buda University.<\/p>\n

According to the plans, the education and training programs will be organically aligned with the needs of industrial players. In the course of industrial innovation development, closer connections can be established between different industries, business associations, innovation centers and new technology parks.<\/p>\n

The project participants aim to create competitive, new products and services, as well as to make efficient use of EU funds. Another objective is for the Science Park to be not only a centre of innovation for the creative technologies of the future, but also to present technological innovations to visitors. The facility represents Hungarian creativity and innovations in one place, while also providing an opportunity to see and try them all.
