Representatives of the Hungarian Institute of Science and Innovation discussed joint research ideas with the International Association of Science and Innovation Parks

Our colleagues representing the Óbuda University Zsámbék Science and Innovation Park and the Székesfehérvár Science and Innovation Park participated in the European Projects Working Group B2B online meeting organized by the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), where 45 meetings were held with 22 organizations from 15 countries on April 10. The aim of the meeting was to bring together science and innovation parks that are open to cooperation and wish to form a consortium and participate in joint European Union applications on common research topics.

Dr. György Eigner, the dean of the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics, said: representatives of the Málaga Tech Park, Technoport Luxembourg, and Technology Park Brno science parks held a meeting The leading staff of Óbuda University Parks had fruitful discussions on topics such as blockchain, cyber security, accessibility, and centers of excellence. The next meeting will be held on April 24th, in Glasgow, at the European Division meeting. will be held at the University of Strathclyde's Technology and Innovation Centre, representatives of Óbuda University Parks will be present in person.

Among Hungarian higher education institutions, Óbuda University became one of the first to become a member of the International Association of Science and Innovation Parks (IASP) on September 29, 2022, and the goal is for all three of the University's Science and Innovation Parks (Kaposvár, Székesfehérvár and Zsámbék) to become members of IASP in the near future.
