Today, October 28th, Science Expo 2025, one of Hungary's largest science and innovation festivals, kicked off!
The event awaits visitors until October 30 in Building D (Glass Hall) of the Millenáris in Budapest, where science, technology and inspiration meet.
The goal of Science Expo is to bring science closer to everyone - students, families, researchers, and interested people alike.
The three-day event will feature interactive demonstrations, spectacular experiments, lectures and exhibitions in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, as well as space exploration, artificial intelligence, energy science and healthcare.
This year's Expo is special, as it is also connected to the 200th anniversary of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Hungarian Year of Science program series.
Óbuda University is also present at the event as an exhibitor, where the institution's researchers, lecturers and students will present their latest developments - in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
In addition, the university will participate in a roundtable discussion on Thursday, October 30, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, on the topic of:
“The application possibilities of AI and robotics, their advantages and limitations in food production practice.
The importance of the scientific background of digital solutions.”
The discussion will provide insight into how digital solutions and automation can help the food industry and agricultural economy develop.
